Stillwater Flies
Damsel fly action in early June on many mountain lakes can be exciting but challenging on heavily fished waters, and the characteristic tadpole wiggle of the nymphs swimming to shore is a characteristic that is highly recommended in fly patterns and can make all the difference. Shrimp are found in many locations, as well as leeches, dragonfly nymphs and water boatmen – all providing extra options to your chironomid fishing.
