Prairie Hopper

$2.75

Depending where you are fishing, grasshoppers in late summer/early fall provide great action, and it’s always a good idea to have a variety of sizes and colors as there are often several species to consider imitating. Dave’s Hopper is good for species that have a distinctive red stripe on their hind legs (often found in west central Alberta), and a smaller, grey pattern for mountain valley grasshoppers, like we find around Canmore, is best. If seeing a black beetle pattern on the surface is challenging, using the high visibility variation works well.
